I removed Google Maps when they did this, now I’m going to not want to use Apple Maps… guess I’ll be trying Organic Maps a shot. Anyone have experience or recommendations for others?
Organic Maps is what you should’ve been using already.
Why the global rollout if the rest of the world doesn’t agree with the change? Just to please Trump?
Amerikans are salivating at the idea of appeasing their new dictator and vice dictator. Every company is lining up to show fealty.
Can we report incorrect data until they fix it?
Edit: yup, easy process.
I like your style.
I just left a review for it on Google Maps claiming it’s the best Mexican Gulf.
Apple doesn’t listen to feedback much.
They have been correcting all my map reports pretty consistently. But I’m suspecting this one will be different.
@ClassifiedPancake @Sunshine @apple_enthusiast they really, really need to ditch Cook and get back to their roots.
I don’t believe Apple will ever go back to that. They have become too big.
@ClassifiedPancake @Sunshine @apple_enthusiast I’ve tried to report it and haven’t found a way through their category questions to say something, particularly a natural geographical feature, is mislabeled, only that some location is missing from the maps.
Ah, yeah, we shouldn’t try then.
I did.
I’m gone from the ecosystem for this. Been standing up for the products since Apple II.
This is your shame:

I will be buying fairphone, framework and pinetime instead of Apple stuff.
Same here. They pushed more and more privacy-invasive features without the user’s consent, Tim is sucking Trump’s dick, and they went crazy with their shitty AI. I used to buy refurbished iPhone because it was good and cheap, but there is no reason for me to stay now if it’s the same crap as Google in a prettier package. Fairphone it is.
I miss when modular phones were almost a thing, then google bought them and scrapped them
Same as google…
Apple goose stepping away
Fuck apple
All of them. They all changed it because of the NGIS data was changed. The name change for Denali back to Mountain McKinley is coming. This just highlights the need for FOSS alternatives in software.
