Hell unlike America (and a few asian countries)… most countries have very very strict rules about what is considered child abuse. making threats about striking a child (regardless of if they are yours or someone else’s) is considered: assault, battery, and child abuse.

i think if i tell a child, “i am going to hurt you”, that is what is considered it

clearly you need to be kept away from children if you think that threatening to take a hammer to a 4 year old child’s hands is ok.
