  • Herlings is still that dude. Guy just looks stupid fast still, but…Lucas Coenen looks better when he isn’t on the ground. Vialle still solid, Gajser finally showed up. Good to see Kay de Wolf showing up too; I was expecting way more from him.

250s are basically Sacha Coenen show I think. Langenfelder is lacking something right now, Farres being the surprise 3rd right now I think. Everts still likes crashing a bit too much, but he’s looked good when he’s up. Reisulis in a year or 2 I think will be the top guy. He just keeps getting better.

  • Tomac getting hurt is huge. Big shakeup, and basically turns this into a 2 horse race in the last 3 rounds. Kenny still looking very solid, and this may be the best he’s looked since his wild 2017 injury. Idk if he has the straight speed to beat Hunter, but he’s way more consistent currently. It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out. Gotta mention JCoop too, guy has been solid lately. Just wish he’d find this at the beginning of the season.

250 was pretty wild. Thrasher pulling it out, just another guy who has speed and no consistency. Landen Gordon being a rookie pulling out 2nd is everything Dudney was unable to put together earlier. Both are young, both will still have shots, but Gordon looks great. Hammaker down 21, unless Davies fully tosses a race away. Guy has the worst luck I think.

  • Coenen looks wild in MXGP. Dude blew past Herlings twice, in the sand. That doesn’t happen. Already looking to be a 2 horse race, but Febvre can’t be counted out, and de Wolf will probably get more consistent soon. Gajser does not seem to be liking the Yamaha either, Vialle seems to be averaging out, but he looks like a solid top 5 guy, which I don’t think he would be in the US.

MX2, other Coenen kinda tossed the win to Langenfelder. Everts looks strong too, Belgium will be a force at MXdN for the foreseeable future. Also, Reisulis deserves a mention, as well as Farres and McLellan. Strong results, especially from the Triumph boys.

  • Another week, another instance of Tomac letting the championship slip away. This was shaping up to be a really good main, and then everyone not named Hunter Lawrence choked it away. Roczen uncharacteristic mistakes, and guy is kickstarting his bike in 2026. Tomac did absolutely nothing all race, and after a really promising looking heat, couldn’t climb up past about 8th before tucking the front and finishing 12th. Sexton on a Kawi had more momentum than Tomac, going 17th to 4th. It’s gotta be an injury; there is no way KTM changes the bike and forces him to finish like this.

250 race was super entertaining, but Hammaker cannot catch a break. One mistake on his own, gets back up to 2nd, and Bennick swaps the rear and collects him. After RJ cleaned him out and took him out of a championship last year, this is likely over and done now too. Triple Crown in Cleveland this weekend though, so points could swing.

  • True. I use it more for sports updates and such, which was the issue. I’d follow an NFL starter pack, and I’d get some journalists and insiders, and then just some random dudes with a podcast from 2 years ago and now they write about Anime and van life or something. Just doesn’t work in its current format like that lol.

Aside from these forum style accounts, BlueSky is the only actual social media I have, and my engagement is pretty low. But it serves its purpose for me

  • Eh. They have 2 different purposes in my mind. Here, I want to discuss things and learn specifics or engage in a topic. On Twitter/BlueSky/Mastodon type social media, I’d rather just scroll it and not engage. I want to see the “headlines”, and then decide to delve deeper elsewhere if it warrants. Which is why the starter packs didn’t work for me, because it consistently served me content I didn’t care to see. Here, I’ll check out /all just to see what is floating around in other circles.
