1·10 days agoIf anyone doesn’t want to write their own software, Lidarr has auto import from lists. You can add your playlists from Spotify and last.FM and it will watch them and automatically download the songs from the lists. There is no Tidal, or Deezer option though which feels like a ball drop by the Lidarr devs.

homeassistant@lemmy.world•"Time Since Last Shower" trackingEnglish
2·2 months agoCould make it more accurate by using a moisture sensor and placing the prongs in the shower. Could also just add a smart button on the show door/wall that you press when you shower to reset the timer.
I have a water shutoff that I installed to cut my kids showers off, they have to press a button to turn on the shower valve. So it runs for 10min and then cuts off. Hmm my son forgets to shower often so maybe I should do something similar to remind him.

Technology@lemmy.world•Easy-to-use solar panels are coming, but utilities are trying to delay themEnglish
13·2 months agoThe PRODUCT is designed to stop feeding OUT the plug if it doesn’t detect CURRENT from the socket. AC is alternating current so it pulses on and off so the solar system is doing the same. It’s turning on and off quickly and seeing if it gets power back and if it detects no power incoming it shuts off the power from the solar. It’s quite simple and ingenious.

Yeah maybe they could you know just stop boosting the US government and tell the truth and we wouldn’t have to worry about censorship.

Technology@lemmy.world•U.S. Supreme Court declines to hear dispute over copyrights for AI-generated materialEnglish
27·2 months agoEasiest should be all digital art is not copyrightable as it was created with software that did most of the work and the “artist” could not have produced it without that software. But that would invalidate almost all Hollywood movies from the last 30 years lol.
