Well I tried exactly server edition and for me it would be the best one edition comparing with all modern windows very few network requests only security updates ,predictable behavior of system,start up and shut down of system during 6 seconds.I tested on thinkpad t430 windown server 2025 ,CPU literally chilling 0-5% usage in idle

Technically it possible with using windows server edition ,clean no bloatware ,minimum processes Legally cost a lot not available for usual users only in crack way

Don’t u have internal graphics of Intel? About nvidia yeah u stuck to x11 switch distro or yeah switch something like fedora cinnamon spin.Actually mint can be nice option here

I had bad experience with their new models which easily broke eink screen after 2 month it was just laying on the table and one day I came and saw lines of screen.I know there was model which called aqua which is very nice and hard to break l but that was not my model

No actually ,only self host is solution actually and phones with non installed software ,so currently for now phone with lineage os,graphenos or post market is,for desktop is linux distros or haiku or BSD based systems.as tool for communication self host matrix,xmpp,irc,email server

Depends from usecase ,mint better when u need deal with some old hardware like old canon printers,scanners cause u can manually install firmware in root folders,I stopped liking bazzite because of switching from KDE appss on qt to gtk while they building it on KDE what point of this moves ,build then on gnome of something what use gtk based environment.That I switched to kinoite and just install software I needed ,installed it to my elderly people too ,installed codecs and that’s it
