They’re unenforceable here too. The only part that is enforceable and insane is “binding arbitration” where you are forced to agree that you won’t sue the company in court but instead you are required to go through a private mediator that the company pays.


I feel like you’re not grasping just how much money they have to make to justify a trillion dollar valuation. They could make a billion dollars every single year for 2 human lifetimes and still not live up to the hype.


Before my buddy got laid off there they were making $200k/yr plus stock to work remote about 10hrs/week. I kinda understand why they were willing to compromise their morals.


I guess it’s not technically a standard but Steam VR runs on every client OS and streams to any VR headset money can buy over USB or network.

What an unhinged thing to say. That is true about literally everything except maybe puppies.


The situation is documented by many governments, not just the USA. Your ignorance betrays you.


It’s not like shattered bus shelters were a huge epidemic before this so it seems like the city already found a good balance between cost and safety.
It makes it harder to run big servers talking to android apps. Instead of them saying “I’m done, goodbye” they will just ghost the server. Then the server has to keep a connection open and waiting around to hear from you again even though you are done.
This isn’t a problem if a few people do it, but if everyone does it then servers could end up spending more time waiting on abandoned connections than doing real work.
