I like the idea that the real reason for all of the atrocities is that people don’t have enough power to play Xbox.

It’s very infuriating talking to people about this because they never really accept that nuclear power is necessary. They spend all their time complaining about how it’s dangerous (it isn’t) and how it’s very expensive, and how you don’t have a lot of control over its output capacity. And yeah, all of those are true, but so what, the only other option is to burn some dead trees which obviously we don’t want to do.

Just because nuclear has downsides doesn’t mean you can ignore it, unless of course you want to invent fusion just to spite me, in which case I’ll be fine with that.

I could probably get away with putting solar panels on my roof but I think my neighbours would have something to say about a wind turbine. They’re pretty loud.

That’s how I’ve always heard it pronounced on the rare occasions anybody ever mentions it. But I’ve never been to that part of the US so maybe the accents different there?

Most of the smaller sites are doing just that. But mainstream sites do have identification in place.

That was massively overblown and turned out not to be entirely as claimed. I would really like it if people would attack him for things he actually did rather than making up accusations. it just makes you look like a bad actor.

LTT only knew that they were stealing associate links, Which is something that only affects content creators and was already being shared between various content creators. That aspect was not something that affected users. The information was made available on the channels that content creators use. There was no need to highlight it to the general public in a video as it didn’t make any difference to them.

The thing with Gamers Nexus was a completely different event where they were accused of changing the associate links so that users wouldn’t get good deals. That did affect users but that was a different scam and then GN deliberately went out of his way to conflate the two incidents.
