deeeep tech analysis from lemmings as usual
actually no. IE dominated because MS owned the desktop and still do. IE was fucking awful and did not care about standards
chrome dominated because it was fucking great. chrome now defines standards because the other browsers lag behind and standards themselves lag behind

try NixOS
all your containers and other services will be managed through one re-usable file
if your server is >= 8GB then proxmox gives a nice interface builtin. i use it to make nixos lxc containers in which i run my containers. which does actually make sense

goodbye foxy, i have a tear in my eye for you
at least all the engineers have gone to better places and projects
you will be remembered with the fondness of 2010
I used Pf as my vlan router and it worked fine but was surprisingly clunky and bit resource heavy
Openwrt seems to offer all the same stuff and is shockingly efficient. Also works in lxc containers effortlessly
Couldn’t recommend it more

this is a reply from further down that is actually correct:
This is being presented as more doom laden than is warranted. Ostensibly it is an effort to stop less technically able users from installing malware, certainly there will be unspoken ulterior motivations but such is the world we have allowed to grow around us. As far as overarching evil plans go this is quite a benign example.

lol this is the truth and you got downvoted to hell
i thought lemmings actually knew a thing or two about linux

surprising the director of la haine is clearly not a pessimist

youtube accounts should be authenticated to a human being in an organisation and those details be public to save democracy
