My point is that, regardless of any personal opinions on the matter, it is a strange post for a place called “Technology”, as it is definitely a “Politics” post.

Yeah, apple always hated the “(any device) is a thing with folders and files inside” paradigm - it was always “I got this app that plays music, I don’t know how”. So it would be crazy if they would just make any device show the contents of the drive.

I was selling smartphones and smartphone accessories when they were just emerging, ending PDA era, and we had FM transmitters - it is powered from car, you plug in your device through aux, and the transmitter sends out the sound in FM, so you can catch it on your effin radio (the frequency were either fixed or selectable). This was the future!

And they have really good products - the Navigator is great, and Yandex Music was better than Spotify (until the war started and a lot of labels/artists disappeared).
I’m not using their products now as I don’t want to feed the government, but they do(did?) some great stuff.

They? They like “manufacturers”? They can’t reduce tariffs, the tariffs exist against them, it’s only the orange who introduced them can reduce them.

Oh, come on, I live in Copenhagen and cycle daily, but even there, cars are not going anywhere. Smelly-smokey cars, yes, but not cars in general.

Google Reader shutdown has completely changed the way I was ingesting information. It was so convenient, I always had 2-3 days worth of articles, web comics and news for reading.
Another problem was that many sites shifted to providing only parts of articles instead of full versions, and it was still the time when I wasn’t always online to finish reading.
